KILIMANJARO, TANGA AND DAR ES SALAAM.

 

KILIMANJARO REGION.

 

WITHOUT THE CLIMB, Mount Kilimanjaro with a Safari in Itself.

 

It is not necessary to be a climber to enjoy a visit to the stunning Mount Kilimanjaro region. Indeed visitors can ascend 12000 feet to the Shira Plateau of West Kilimanjaro by Four Wheel drive vehicle.

Lake Jipe lies on the same same road. Sixteen kilometers long by five Kilometers wide, it is slightly saline and significantly large than Chala. On the Tanzania-Kenya border, It is rarely visited so exudes an atmosphere of tranquility and Seclusion.

MKOMAZI -KILIMANJARO

UMBA-TANGA.

This is a Spectacular Wilderness, a classic dry country reserve of grey green nyika bush, ancient baobab trees and isolated rocky hills.  Located within sight to the Northwest is Mount Kilimanjaro. To the South, the Pare and Usambara mountains a dramatic backup and to the North it borders Kenya’s vast Tsavo National Parks.

What is Special in Mkomazi;

-African Hunting Dog

-Black Rhino Sanctuary

There are good facilities like Five Air Strips and Good Campsites.

Wildlife Species available are elephants, Oryx, gerenuk, hartebeest, lesser kudu, eland, impala, Grants’s gazelle, Buffalo.

Always these preys attracts predators, Lions, Leopard, and Cheetah are available there.

Mkomazi are even more numerous with over 450 recorded species. Doves, horn-bills, weavers and guinea fowl are all present in a large numbers as well as such striking species as the martial eagle and violet wood-hoopoe.

TANGA REGION

 

AMBONI CAVES.

The Amboni caves are unique, natural caves ever existing under the sun, these caves have natural beauty, sharp horns, rocks glittering like morning sunshine, its walls are glittering like midnight moon.

 A LEGEND; In 1941 a European went there with a dog. The dog disappeared and was found in Kilimanjaro Region. How surprising are these Caves!!??

 

 

 

 

EAST USAMBARA MOUNTAINS.
